    BadAss Motors.

    in Speed Junkies!

Has anyone tried any of the BadAss Motors available at https://innov8tivedesigns.com/ I just got a new BadAss 2826-1360kv motor and a 100amp Cobra Race Wing ESC. Motor is supposed to be rated up to 2100watts on 6S Lipo, up to 95Amps continuous. Hoping to test it out soon. I might put it on my old FF-SuperNova if it tests out to be more powerful than the old motor. Definitely looks to be of way better quality than the old HobbyKing 3648-1450kv motor... The motors are roughly the same size, the old Hobby King motor numbers are by outer can dimensions, the BadAss motor is by inner Stator size..

Got to test out the BadAss motor on the FF-Supernova. Motor was only tested on a 5S Lipo battery. On that setup we hit 134.2mph. I am waiting on some 6S batteries I just ordered and will retest soon. Hopefully we can hit 150mph or better! Video below of the 5S tests.

Got to test the BadAss 2826-1360kv motor with a 6S lipo battery. we hit a top speed of 149.1mph! Note though this was a 3200mah 50C 6S battery. I have ordered a couple of 100C 6s packs to test it on next. Should break 150mph with those since I should have less voltage drop at full power.

I went out to fly the FF-Supernova with the Bad Ass Power System on a windy day. With a nice tailwind push it broke 160mph. Using the wind for extra speed is cheating, but was still fun to do! The previous top speed with very little wind was 149.1 mph.
