EPP Foam Planes
Quick post for the Experimental Forward Swept Wing Plane made from EPP Foam.
I had someone ask about the Vertical Stabilizers for this X-plane. The original plane I just randomly cut them from balsa wood at what I thought looked OK. I measured them on my original plane and they are roughly 5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide at the base and 2 inches wide at the top. They are swept back a little bit of an angle. I just drew a rough sketch and saved to the PDF below.
Quero construir o modelo (experimental forward) mas CG, não está no desenho,me podem ajudar? OBRIGADO
The CG is approximately 16 Inches (40.6cm) back from the tip of the nose.
Do you have any other beta template that we can play with?
Benoit Filion, the PDF posted above is the only one I have for this old plane. The plane was originally built 11 years ago from these templates. The only other information I have is what is show in the videos.
Thanks but I meant Anny other plane beta template . thanks in advance😊
@Benoit Filion below are Beta Templates for th FF-Jupiter, FF-Sabre Warrior and FF-Recon.. Just please note these are just basic templates and do not have all the information like the official finished plans.
Plano experimental de asa de varredura para frente, QUE MOTOR DEVO USAR?
The original motor used was a 2212-6 1400KV Suppo brussless motor. I upgraded it to a 2207-2550kv Brother Hobby drone motor in the latest video.
Here is a free Template for the forward swept wing plane. This plane was made form EPP Foam using the basic templates in the PDF file below. It is a very basic plan. You will need to cut the foam parts out and then sand and shape them to be rounded and aerodynamic.
